Taiwan, with its vibrant food culture, is a beloved holiday destination for many Singaporeans. Bringing a piece of this culture to share with Singaporeans is Milksha, which is set to import Taiwanese snacks under sister company, Amoy, in it’s line-up of curated offerings. A wide range of authentic Taiwanese snacks will now be available in Singapore. Not to be missed is the Rice Cracker, which is made with plump rice grains from Chishang Township, Taitung County, as well as a mix of wholesome grains: red quinoa, black rice, buckwheat, and pumpkin seeds. This is a healthy snack! Bound to be a hit amongst Singaporeans is the Salted Egg Nougat Cookie ($14.20). This offering sees salted egg cream sandwiched between crispy soda crackers.
Next is Sachima ($14.20), a sweet snack made with fried batter that is held together by a sugar syrup. Made by hand, each block is fragrant, crumbly and crispy. Love cookies? The Lins Handmade Cookies ($12.80) comes with an assortment of seven delicious offerings. Finally, there are the Candied Kumquats ($14.20), an iconic snack in Yilan County. The kumquats are carefully selected for their juicy flesh. Then, they are coated with molasses.
